Takedown & opt-out
Grounded Art lists Cape Town galleries, exhibitions, artists, and openings. If you are listed here and want a change, this page explains what we hold, how we credit you, and how to update, remove, or opt out of a listing.
What we list
We store public business information about galleries, venues, and exhibitions, such as a name, address, opening hours, show dates, a link, and a representative image. We build this from public sources and from details galleries and artists send us. We do not gather private personal information for these listings.
How we attribute
Every listing credits the gallery or artist and links back to their own site or social presence, so the credit and the traffic go where they belong. We track the source, the link, and when we last verified each listing, so we can confirm or replace it and act on a request.
Update, remove, or opt out
You can ask us to correct a listing, remove it, or opt out of being listed at all. There is no cost, and you do not need an account. Email takedown@grounded-art.co.za with a link to the listing or the gallery or artist name, and tell us what you would like changed. If you are the gallery, venue, or artist, please email from an address we can tie to you so we can act quickly.
Our response
We reply within two business days. We act on a valid removal or opt-out request without argument. Where a listing needs a correction rather than removal, we fix it and note the change. If we need more information to find the right listing, we ask.
